Ana Mendieta

This is remarkable, its being one with nature. I
admire her for being smothered in dirt and mud, its something i would never do this, i like being clean. what i get from this is that one day all of the earth's resources are one day going to be gone and this is a protest saying "you kill a tree, you kill yourself in the long run". When I look at this it makes me think of the show Face-Off on Sci-fi, about the competition of special effects make up artists. one of the challenges was to make a model blend in with a picture and one of the pictures was earthy like this one.
